Service reminders

The service book that fills itself

Every machine you have ever sold or serviced needs its next service. Stalmio asks for the work before the customer thinks about it.

Replaces: Replaces waiting for the phone to ring and hoping the customer remembers

How it goes today

  • A service book that lives in the cab, or in a drawer, or nowhere at all.
  • Machines you sold years ago being serviced by somebody else, because nobody asked first.
  • A workshop diary with holes in it, filled by whoever happens to ring on the day.

What Stalmio does instead

  • The fleet view shows what is due, what is overdue and what is expiring.
  • The reminder goes out under your name, in the customer's language.
  • They book from the portal and the job lands in your workshop.

What happens

  1. Every customer machine on a schedule

Every machine you have sold or serviced can carry its own service schedule: by hours, by months, or both. The fleet view shows what is coming due, what is overdue and what has an inspection running out.

  2. The reminder goes out under your name

When a service comes due the customer gets a reminder branded as your dealership, in their own language, with the machine and what it needs. You do not write it and you do not remember to send it.

  3. The customer books it themselves

The reminder links to your service portal, where they see the machine, its history and what is due, and ask for the work. No phone tag and no waiting until somebody is at a desk.

  4. Your workshop diary fills up

The request lands in the workshop as a job to schedule, against the right machine and the right customer, with the history already attached. The work becomes a job sheet and then a bill.

Who this is for

  • Dealers with machines out in the field that they sold and then lost sight of.
  • Workshops with capacity they cannot fill, waiting on the phone rather than asking for work.
  • Anyone whose service revenue depends on a customer remembering something the customer has no reason to remember.
  • Dealers competing with the independent down the road, who wins the work simply by asking first.
  • Anyone who wants the machine history in one place when the customer asks what was done last time.

What you get today

  • You set the intervals once, by hours or by months, and every machine you sell or service carries them forward from there.
  • The customer portal shows each owner their own machine, its history and what is due, from a link in the reminder.
  • The request arrives in your workshop as work to schedule, so which technician and which day stay your call.

Questions dealers ask

Does the customer need an account?
No. The reminder carries a link that opens their machine and its history directly, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to remember.
Does it look like it came from us or from Stalmio?
From you. The reminder carries your dealership name and branding, and the portal it opens is yours. Stalmio is not mentioned to your customer.
What if a customer does not want reminders?
They can opt out from any reminder, and that is remembered. Reminders stop for that customer without anyone at your end having to do anything.
